My intentions for starting this blog were for sharing my heart for God, speaking out on Eating Disorders, and also our identity and value in Christ....those where my initial intentions. But as a bonus I have found other blogs that have bless me immensely! I wished I could read each one every day! But I would never get out of my seat!!
One blog that I read is http://www.coffeegal.blogspot.com/ And a few weeks ago I won a beautiful apron that she hand made and embroidered my name and initial on the front! Here is a picture of me in it....taken by Jack at a weird angle. Thank you Kellie! It is beautiful. I think of you everyday when I see it hanging in my kitchen and when I put it on! I LOVE IT!!!!
I told Jack that I would be a better cook now that I had such a cute apron to wear...he said, "no you won't..(great, I am thinking)...you already are a good cook." So sweet! A good husband he will make!
It is windy here! I am hoping a small tree by our house doesn't fall down...it would hit my house.
Today I was down at the National Eating Disorder Association office training some more to work on the helpline. Today we did phone call role plays...so much fun..but hard at the same time. I left there with such a great purpose in my heart...knowing that God is opening doors for me to teach and encourage girls and women about body image and self worth. Next month I was asked to come in to the middle school in town and talk to all of the health classes about eating disorders.
Time to go pick up my little boy at school....pray for my tree!
Blessings,
Teresa
