This weekend was my oldest daughter's bday...21 :) I was so happy that she chose to spend it with me! We had a great time. Her best friend hung out with us and we laughed and talked until 2 in the morning. And then after teaching Sunday School yesterday, I took her to lunch.
It seems amazing to me that she is 21. We have spent the week looking at old pictures and laughing hysterically at all of my hairstyles and clothing choices. We have remembered fun things we did. We looked at the sweet face of my daughter as she has grown up and become a great young woman of God.
So in honor of my sweet daughter I am going to list 21 great things about her!
1. She is a great friend to those in her life.
2. She is a hard worker.
3. She bought her own car last year and has worked hard to pay her payment each month.
4. She is dedicated to becoming a nurse and perseveres through each class.
5. She loves God.
6. She takes her sister shopping.
7. She helps me with computer things (and lately doesn't roll her eyes at me when I don't get it).
8. She has great hair.
9. She has a great sense of style while being casual and comfortable.
10. She is spontaneous.
11. She is sensitive to how others feel.
12. She is loyal to her friends, job, school and family.
13. She loves to eat fish sticks. I use to eat them when I was a child and every time she makes them it makes me laugh because she lines them on the cookie sheet just like I did.
14. She tells me when I have something in my teeth.
15. She loves her sister and brother.
16. She still has her blanket from when she was a baby...and she sleeps with it (she doesn't hide that...so I am not revealing secrets :)
17. She has a plan for finishing school and sticks to it.
18. She has a great laugh.
19. She has big blue eyes that sparkle when she smiles.
20. She chose to spend her 21st bday with her momma.
21. She has a great sense of humor.
There are so many more things I could add to this list!
