More truth

"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10 NLT

I have a love/hate relationship with this scripture. I love it because it is the truth and I hate that I struggle at times to believe it for myself.

I have been very challenged to "make every effort to respond to God's promises" (2 Peter 1:5). The entire Bible is a promise...each word was written for a reason...for us to read and understand and apply.

The Bible says that the "truth will set us free". It says "we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord" (Deut 8:3).

The truth is...God's Word is truth.

So if God says we are His masterpiece...then we are.

So why is this so hard to believe then?

It is because we have been lied to or are being lied to. The enemy is a liar and he says we are not good enough. He says we will never be able to succeed or do great things or write that book or serve in a ministry or pray for the person sitting next to us even though God is prompting you to do it?

I really "strongly dislike"...okay I hate Satan. Really I do. I hate that we sometimes believe him more than we believe the promises of the bible. And I hate that because Satan is the creator of lies and God is the Truth and the Creator of the world and He created us...

Do you believe Satan more than you believe the promise of God...the truth?

We have to stop believing the lies. God loves us so much. He wants us to believe that He says we are His masterpiece. It's okay to say that God loves me. God loves me. He adores me. He thinks I am great. I am a masterpiece in the eyes of the Lord and God is our only judge.

Do you believe Satan more than you believe the promise of God?

What is one lie you are believing? Declare right now that you will no longer believe it because God has a different opinion.

I declare that I am God's masterpiece...created by God...with purpose...with gifts...and loved by the Most High God.

Declare that is who you are too...because it is THE TRUTH.

Oh Satan...we will not let you think you have won...because the battle is ALREADY won...and God has the victory.

"Jesus loves you this I know for the Bible tells me so." That's the truth.
