What Is Beautiful?

A quick post to share something that I God asked me to do about a year ago. This past month I knew that God said it was time to go forth with it...and today I just got the confirmation that it is official....

I am now am the director of my own Non Profit...I got the certificate in the mail today from the State of Washington :) Can you tell I am soooo excited??!!

My purpose (as of so far):

*** Conduct workshops with in the community and schools that promote healthy self worth.
***Create Girl's Groups for ages 10-14 (approx) that will support, encourage, and teach how to value who they are. These groups will be an avenue to help girls understand how the media sets an unattainable image, to find their identity in their value, and to discover what is special and unique about them.
****Educate parents and teachers on how to support and encourage girls regarding body and self image and eating disorders.
***Provide scholarships or funds for eating disorder treatment.
***Speak to women on breaking free from their past and finding their identity in Christ.

Okay...I have to go to my bible study...I will write more later...just couldn't wait to share!
